(Clematis) Big on blooms is how to best describe MADAME MARIA® Clematis. MADAME MARIA® boosts large 5-6 inch fully double blooms in early summer. The large, circular balls of flowers are a rich white color, and in cooler weather take on a light green color. This repeat bloomer flowers on both old and new growth. Starting off in June/July the flowers come on strong, later in the summer you will see a repeat flush of MADAME MARIA® beauty. You may notice that the first round of blooms are much larger, and appear to have more petals than the later blooms, this is normal. Growing 5-7 foot tall, MADAME MARIA® is a perfect addition to fences, arbors, or trellis'. Give your garden some vertical height with flowering Clematis vines. Planted in Full sun and keeping its roots shaded is where MADAME MARIA® is most at home. In early spring, MADAME MARIA® can be trimmed back to 36" or just left alone, trimming is easy on this beauty. A PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Plant.
