(Lily of the Valley) Convallaria 'Rosea' has bell-shaped blooms that appear in spring and last for several weeks then produce tiny orange berries. Pale mauve-pink flowers give a new twist to this old-fashioned favorite. 'Rosea' is a tough, vigorous groundcover, but the dainty blossoms are very fragrant and can be used for making perfume.
