Details

(Coneflower) Echinacea 'Meringue' feature creamy yellow pom-poms with apple green centers, set atop white ray petals, creating this delicious "meringue" coneflower. As the flower ages, Echinacea 'Meringue', turns a lighter shade of yellow and the pom-pom expands. A delight for songbirds, this distinctive knee high variety was introduced by AB Cultivars and blooms from mid to late summer.

Beautiful flower, looks good enough to eat, LOL! I bought this one last year and was very happy with it. It survived zone 4 WI weather with ease, and is coming back up nicely now, 4/23/10. Looking forward to an even bigger show this year. (Posted on 4/22/2010)
