Details

(Coneflower) What sets Sensation Pink Coneflower apart from the rest? Let's break it down. The bright, magenta blooms have a sweet fragrance to them. The sturdy, compact habit, standing 16-18 inches tall forms a nice upright mound. Sensation Pink displays a profusion of rich magenta flowers that are 3 inches wide and held up on strong, well-branched deep burgundy/black stems from midsummer through early fall! The beautiful flowers are long-lasting, and as they age, they lighten to a lavender pink. Not only are the flowers beautiful, the plant itself is an excellent grower with lovely deep green foliage. Sensation Pink is also very drought tolerant once established. This compact form of Echinacea is well suited for container gardens as well as in the landscape. In the late season we recommend leaving the seed heads as they will attract birds to your garden in the fall and winter. Echinacea Sensation Pink is a must have for any garden, and will light up your garden both in color and with the butterflies it attracts.

Reviews
Rod's Pick

What really stood out in the trial gardens most to me was the deep burgundy/black stems. It almost seemed like they helped intensify the brightness of the magenta blooms. I also appreciated the compact habit.
