(Coneflower) Echinacea 'Sunset' PP16,424 has vibrant orange, daisy-like blossoms unlike any ever seen before in the Coneflower world. Perhaps one of the biggest plant breeding milestones in recent history! This new hybrid is far superior to the much-publicized Echinacea Orange Meadowbrite™, which has received a lot of garden hype in recent years. Flowers have a prominent brown central cone and wide overlapping petals that are slightly reflexed. 'Sunset' PP16,424 is very floriferous with a delightful honey-rose scent. Grows about 6" shorter than its cousin Echinacea Big Sky™ 'Sunrise' PP16,235. Plant both varieties together for a hot color duo!
