(Purple Lovegrass) A native grass to fall in love with, Eragrostis spectabilis. This fall blooming grass stands 18-24 inches and wide and glows in the late summer sun. Forming a mounding clump, Eragrostis spectabilis is light green in color until fall when it turns a bronzy red color with airy seed heads. Grown in full sun, Eragrostis spectabilis is a heat loving native grass that grows best in dry to average soil conditions. Drought tolerant and deer resistance are just a few of the added attributes of this grass.
