(American Cranesbill) An easy to grow, spring native perennial, Geranium maculatum is a great little groundcover. Standing 8-12 inches tall and wide, 1 1/4 inch wide bright pink to lavendar flowers nestle above the airy green foliage that forms a mounding habit. Planted in full to part shade is where Cransbill are most at home. Planted in moist well drained soils, Geranium spreads by seed. Great for borders, or in mass, Geranium maculatum brings beauty to your spring and early summer garden.
