Description

Details

(Sneezeweed) Helenium 'Double Trouble', don't worry this plant is no trouble at all. 'Double Trouble' is one of the first sterile, long lasting, double blooming Helenium. Blooming from midsummer until the early fall, the frilly petals set just to the side of the yellow button top. The tall, sturdy stems, standing 30 inches tall make for an excellent cut flower. You can pinch the plants back in the spring to promote an even sturdier, and compact habit. Deadheading helps promote a longer bloom time and will encourage a later season rebloom. 'Double Trouble' is a native selection that often can be found in prairies and woods. Plant in mass or as a specimen in your gardens and watch as the butterflies swarm to your garden.
