(Sneezeweed) Helenium 'Sahin's Early Flowerer' O.K. - so it's not the best name for a plant, but it is one of the best native perennials for late season color! 'Sahin's Early Flowerer' displays a profusion of flowers which open deep red with a brown and yellow central cone, then develop orange and yellow streaks on the petals. The tall stems are excellent for cut flowers.

Eye Catcher Review by Edwin H | Zone: 7b
This is a great eye catcher in any border, especially in mass looks great with umbels, Achillea and spires like Lythrum or Salvia, it is a long blooming perennial which gets lots of attention. If you looking for a crowd stopper this is it. Hard to find in USA. (Posted on 2/24/2011)
