(Daylily) Hemerocallis 'South Seas' is a new Designer Daylily™ with a totally unique coral-pink color! This bright color gets our attention every time in the garden and no daylily quite compares to it. The pinkish-coral 5" flowers have a deeper red-coral band above a small yellow-green throat. Each heavily ruffled flower has a slight gold edge that becomes more prominent as the day progresses. The well-branched scapes are loaded with 30+ buds each for many weeks of enjoyment! 'South Seas' grows very well and is an all-around excellent daylily.

Customer Reviews

Beautiful Color Review by Karen | Zone: 5b
The pictures on the web site do not do this daylily justice! It is the most beautiful coral-orange somewhat variegated color you have ever seen. And hardy - needs no special attention! (Posted on 3/28/2012)
Still Pretty Review by Julie W | Zone: 8a
Tough enough to stand up to the heat and drought imposed by Dallas, plus our clay soil. Flower color for me was more coral-pink than pink-coral, not quite as bright as I'd hoped. Still pretty and lots of blooms. (Posted on 1/12/2012)
Beautiful and Vibrant Review by Quin | Zone: 4
I planted 4 of these along my front door walkway this July and love them! They are beautiful and vibrant, have a nice light fragrance and look wonderful next to my Summer Nights Delphinium. Puts out lots of blooms, but each one only lasts for a single day. (Posted on 8/8/2009)
