(Coral Bells) Set the garden ablaze with Heuchera 'Fire Alarm'. In the Spring the new growth emerges bright red, as the summer progresses the foliage turns a deep mahogany red and in the fall 'Fire Alarm' is back to its bright red color. 'Fire Alarm' Heuchera is a very full and vigorous grower, producing a nice mound of foliage that stands 9 inches tall and 14 inches wide. Dark red stems standing 13 inches tall produce white flowers tinged with pink throughout the summer. Heuchera is an evergreen variety in many zones. 'Fire Alarm' is part of the villosa family of Heuchera which exhibits large, heat and humidity tolerant foliage. Enjoy the beauty of 'Fire Alarm' Heuchera, and smile as this one is too 'hot' for the deer to handle!
