Description

Details

(Hosta) Hosta 'Arctic Blast' has a vase-like upright mounding habit and produces trumpet-shaped lavender flowers in midsummer. The thick leaves of this shade-loving hosta are an "arctic" frosted blue with white undersides. The leaf margins are wavy with twisted pointed tips. 'Arctic Blast' will grow 3 to 4 feet wide and 16 to 20 inches tall and does best in full shade to part sun, in moist, well-drained soil. 'Artic Blast' is hardy in zones 3 to 9, and the fanciful flowers attract butterflies. 'Arctic Blast' will look stunning in a decorative container as well as an eye-catching border or specimen anywhere in your garden or landscape.
