A sport of 'Rainforest Sunrise', 'Pocketful of Sunshine' is a compact hosta the grows to 9 inches tall with flower stalks reaching 14 inches. The yellow leaves are edged with large dark green margins. The leaves are also thick, heavily textured and cup-shaped. As the summer progresses the leaf color brightens. Early to mid summer 'Pocketful of Sunshine' sends up lightly fragrant lavender blooms.
