Details

(Cardinal Flower ) Lobelia Black Truffle is a stunning addition to the Cardinal Flower family. The dark burgundy black foliage is a knockout from spring through the fall. The stunning bright red flowers contrast beautifully with the amazing dark foliage. Standing 3-4 foot tall, Black Truffle the bushy full upright habit is a great addition to perennial gardens, rain gardens and planted at the watered edge. Hardy in zones 5-8, the bright red flowers are a magnet for hummingbirds. Planted in full sun to part shade, Black Truffle makes for a great cut flower. Enjoy the great foliage all the while the deer should stay away.
