(Primrose-Evening) Beauty in bloom 24 hours a day! Oenothera 'Fireworks' is a low growing ground cover that typically blooms in June. Standing 15-18 inches tall and wide, 'Fireworks' has deep bronze colored foliage with red stems and flower buds. The bright yellow blooms contrast beautifully with the foliage. Although the individual bloom does not last long, the loads of buds on each plant will provide you with weeks of great color. Planted in full sun, Oenothera 'Fireworks' prefers locations with average to dry soil conditions, and is also a salt and drought tolerant plant. 'Fireworks' is a perennial native to North America, and is also deer resistant.
