(Senecio aureus) Packera aurea is a tough native with semi evergreen foliage that is an early season bloomer. Bright green foliage stands 6 inches tall with 12 inch upright stems that hold the blooms. Small bright yellow flowers appear from April - June and provide nectar and pollen for the native bees. Grown in moist, part shade to full locations Packera aurea thrives. Both deer and rabbit resistant, Packera aurea is well suited for shade gardens, forests, and bog and water gardens. - More Info
