(Peony-Intersectional ) Paeonia Cora Louise a great new cross of the herbaceous garden peony with the woody tree types. Cora Louise, when mature, is stunning! The 6-8" semi double blooms are white with a magenta eye. Once established it has been known to produce 50 or more blooms per plant! The sweet fragrance is breath taking, a butterfly's dream come true. The strong stems, graced with healthy green foliage similar to that of a tree peony, nicely hold the large blooms upward. No staking is required with Cora Louise making this a great choice not only for your gardens but also for landscape design. The Intersectional/Itoh peony Cora Louise has an increased bloom time due to the new side shoots putting on later blooms. With increased vigor and excellent winter hardiness down to zone 4, Cora Louise is a great addition to both northern and southern gardens.
