(Oriental Poppy) Papaver 'Flamenco Dancer' PP20,123 boasts true red blossoms with unique fringed petals. The large blooms reach 4-6 inches across and have a intense velvety black eye. In late spring- early summer the bright splashes of orangish red will light up your garden as they sway in the midday breeze. Planted in full sun, is where 'Flamenco Dancer' is most happy. Poppies are great for cut flowers, dried flowers, or as a garden border. This early season bloomer is a great specimen that attracts hummingbirds. If deer or rabbits are a problem in your garden, poppies are a good choice as they are deer and rabbit resistant. Poppies do go dormant when their bloom cycle is complete, we recommend planting other perennials and annuals near then to fill in the gaps.
