Description

Details

(Poppy Oriental) Beautiful, large showy flowers in the spring, Oriental Poppy Snow Goose is a garden must have. The large, semi double blooms are an off white color with a purple eye. The heavily ruffled flowers are glossy and thicker than other varieties. They are held upright by the sturdy stems. Planted in full sun with good drainage, Snow Goose grows to 20-24 inches tall and up to 15 inches wide. When in bloom, Poppies create a stunning show for garden borders, as a specimen or in a combination planting. In the heat of the summer, Papaver Snow Goose typically goes dormant although in temperate climates a second round of blooms may occur. Poppies are a great cut flower for indoor enjoyment, or enjoy even longer as a dried specimen. Papaver are a deer and rabbit resistant perennial variety.
