Description

Details

(Painter's Palette) Persicaria 'Painter's Palette' most likely received its name because the wildly mottled, multi-colored foliage truly resembles that of a painter's palette. The green leaves are splashed with large patches of cream and yellow and pink and brushed with mahogany bands on the center of the leaves. In late summer, a haze of coral-red, baby's breath-like flowers is displayed above 'Painter's Palette' dramatic foliage. Shear this plant to promote reblooming.

Terrific Plant Review by Vivian S | Zone: 5
Quality
This is a terrific plant. It grows well in shade as well as sun. Once established, it is a vigorous grower. Lovely red flowers in fall. (Posted on 3/28/2009)
