(Roscoea) A relative of the ginger family, Roscoea purpurea ‘Cinnamon Stick’ has lance-shaped leaves and produces lavender orchid-like flowers in late summer. ‘Cinnamon Stick’ is stunning in the shady woodland garden with its blood red “cinnamon stick” stems. Roscoea is native to the mountain regions of eastern Asia.
