Description

Details

(Meadow Sage) Salvia 'Carradonna' is known best for its unique flower stems. The stems are a glowing dark purple color that nicely compliments the blue-violet flowers. The long flowering time of early to mid summer is an added bonus for 'Carradonna'. This plant also attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. A real knock out!

Goldfinch and Butterfly Magnet Review by Pam | Zone: 5b
Quality
Carradonna salvia is an easy to grow perennial that masses quickly and rewards the gardener with the most lovely violet (not blue) flowers. I planted several in a bed with Coneflowers and Karl Foerster ornamental grass. It is heavenly and a goldfinch and butterfly magnet! (Posted on 1/14/2012)
