(Grass-Ornamental) Changing color like the seasons is how to best describe Schizachyrium Standing Ovation. Standing 3-4 foot tall and 18 inches wide, Standing Ovation is an upright clumping ornamental grass. The early season color of blue green turns to rich shades of reds, purples and yellows as the season progresses. By fall, this specimen will put on a show. Hardy in zones 3-8, Standing Ovation grows best in full sun locations that have average to dry soil. Drought tolerant, Standing Ovation also makes a great cut flower for indoor arrangements. This native variety is a perfect addition to meadows, on hills, or used as a border or specimen in the garden.
