(Sedum) Combine Sedum with Orostachys and you get 'Blue Elf', the world's first cross if its kind. Blue Elf beautifully blends the best qualities of both parent plants. Steel-blue foliage rosettes that lengthen and grow away from the center resemble the Orostachys parent, whereas the tight clusters of dark pink flowers in mid-summer boast of its Sedum parentage. Standing 3 inches tall and spreading up to 15 inches wide in the first year, Blue Elf is perfect for rock gardens as well as borders. It is drought tolerant and requires well-drained soil for best performance. Hardy in zones 4-9, xSedoro Blue Elf is highly fragrant with "grape-soda" scented blooms and will attract butterflies, hummingbirds as well as bees. Enjoy the first of its kind, xSedoro 'Blue Elf'!
