Common Name: “Black Snakeroot”

(Black Snakeroot) Actaea 'Black Negligee' is a dark and mysterious accent plant for your garden. This vigorous grower has lacy black foliage and striking black-purple stems. In late summer, 'Black Negligee' has large purplish-white bottlebrush flowers which project 2 feet above the foliage and perfume the air with their sweet fragrance. It thrives in moist soil.
