Phlox - Creeping

Creeping Phlox is a perennial, semi-evergreen ground cover useful in rock gardens, edgings and hillside plantings. The needle-like foliage is covered in a profusion of star-shaped flowers in lovely pastel shades in spring. Easy to grow, Creeping Phlox thrives in a variety of conditions, but grows best in a sunny location in moist, well-drained soil. It can, however, tolerate most any soil as long as it is in full sun to part shade. The stems can be cut back after flowering to shape and perhaps promote a second bloom.
