(False Spirea) Astilbe ‘Rise and Shine’ is a hot pink flowering variety that will wake up your shade garden! Standing 28 inches tall, Astilbe ‘Rise and Shine’ features large, 8 inch long plumes, held strong on sturdy flower stems and look like a large bouquet planted in the garden. ‘Rise and Shine’ is a newer hybrid variety of the Astilbe chinensis species, which is where it gets its increased sun and drought tolerance from. An excellent perennial for full sun or full shade. Deer and rabbit resistant foliage! Trim back in the spring, as the foliage will help protect the plant over the winter. Astilbe ‘Rise and Shine’ has a fragrant flower and foliage, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to dance around your garden. Be sure to add this striking perennial to your landscape as a specimen plant, border or mass planting.

Bold hot pink color makes it a stand out in shade areas. Makes for great blooms in cut bouquets also. Rapid grower also.
