(Basil) Grow Kitchen Minis™ ‘Mini Bonsai’ Basil right in your kitchen window! This dense and compact basil plant fits excellently in small to medium-sized containers. It can grow to about 6-12 inches tall and wide and forms a mounded shape. It is a fast grower and will reward you with a plentiful harvest of basil leaves to use in recipes as a spice or garnish. When pinching off the leaves to use in recipes, it is recommended to do so with the top leaves first. The leaves of this basil plant are a bold green color, and they are small enough that they don’t need to be chopped before being cooked. Kitchen Minis™ ‘Mini Bonsai’ Basil grows best in areas with plenty of sun, which means if you are growing it indoors it is best placed next to a sunny window.
