(Clematis) PATRICIA ANN FRETWELL™ Clematis is the first double flowering red and pink clematis. The outer sepals are reddish magenta pink, fading to pale pink at the edges, the inner sepals are palest pink with a narrow deep pink stripe. The stamens are creamy-white creating a beautiful contrast. Standing 6-8 foot tall, PATRICIA ANN FRETWELL™ is well suited for trellis and arbors as well as in a nice size container. The stunning double flowers of PATRICIA ANN FRETWELL™ bloom from the old wood in June and July and then sets out a repeat bloom cycle of single flowers from the new growth in September. A great reblooming Clematis!

Flower color may vary due to environment.

    Stunning Clematis
This clematis is stunning! The description indicates red tones in the blooms, but mine has always been shades of pink (fuchsia and pale pink). The shape and fullness of the blooms in the photo are similar to those on my vine. This clematis has survived 3 years in a container, many frosts and hail, clematis wilt, and being cut down to the ground a couple of times…yet, every spring, she is reliably covered in big, beautiful blooms. One of my favorites!
