(Clematis) Clematis ‘Terniflora’ produce masses of small 1 inch creamy white flowers completely covering this plant from August through September. Its sweet scent is an added bonus, and is sure to get the attention of anyone who walks near, including hummingbirds and butterflies. ‘Terniflora’ is a very impressive, vigorous grower. It will quickly establish itself in the landscape. It can be kept smaller with pruning, and should be cut back in late fall, as ‘Terniflora’ blooms on new wood. Unlike most clematis, ‘Terniflora’ will thrive and bloom well in part shade.

Flower color may vary due to environment.

This Clematis is beautiful and carries such a sweet fragrance. Showers of delicate white flowers that last for several weeks and provides great coverage for an unsightly fence. I love it!

    Beautiful Climber
I have had this plant in 2 of my gardens now. It is a beautiful climber, even in my clay soil, but can be invasive here in KC.

  3. Ilene S | Zone: 6

    Invasive
Beautiful, but good luck trying to keep it tamed. This is, by far, the most INVASIVE plant in my garden. Be afraid. Be very afraid!

    Aromatic Flowers
Dear Garden Crossing, I have been pleased with everything I have ordered from you over time, and in your customer service. I wanted to let you know how this plant did. The first year the vine grew very nicely, about 2 1/2 feet, had lots of green leaves and a few flowers. But, the second year, it amazingly stretched itself up and over my 5′ trellis. And to top it off it was loaded with very aromatic flowers in the later part of the summer. I got a lot of compliments in regards to the scent and beauty of the vine. It has done so amazing well! I can hardly wait to see it this coming summer! THANK YOU for a great plant!

    Sweet Smell
The first year I planted this vine it only produced a few flowers. Since then however, it has been covered with flowers every Spring, just like in the picture. The sweet smell is a knock-out! On sunny days I leave the back door open just so the breeze brings it in. All this in partial shade.

    Perfectly Packed
I only just received my order of three clematises, including this one, a week ago and so far they appear to be doing very nicely in their new home. One has already grown an additional 2 inches!! I have planted them in large terra cotta pots and am hoping to train them up onto a very tall hedge. The plants were packed for shipping absolutely perfectly and the soil in their travel pots was still moist. Everything was intact and ready to be planted. Thanks so much for the great job!
