(Pinks) Dianthus ‘Fire and Ice’ produce warm raspberry colored 1-1/2″ blossoms, splashed with light pink dots and trimmed with nearly smooth cool white picotee edging. ‘Fire and Ice’ offers an abundance of flowers with a lovely spicy clove fragrance that will attract butterflies, growing 10 inches tall and spreading up to 14 inches wide. Grey-green foliage and a rounded compact habit make ‘Fire and Ice’ a great container specimen or border plant. Dianthus ‘Fire and Ice’ is a great choice for your rock gardens and other areas that are prone to drought and dry conditions. Flowers bloom early summer to early fall, and reblooming later into fall if spent flowers are removed.
