(Pinks) FRUIT PUNCH® Dianthus ‘Sweetie Pie’ is just as cute as its name. The exceptionally large, fragrant 1 1/2 inch blooms are fully double and a bright pink color that fades to pale pink as the flowers age. This long season bloomer stands 9 inches tall and 12-14 inches wide. The bright pink blooms have excellent coverage over the spiky green foliage. FRUIT PUNCH® ‘Sweetie Pie’ Dianthus is an excellent choice for borders, pathways, and in rock gardens. Dianthus grows best in loose, well-drained soils, is drought tolerant and prefers full sun to part shade locations. Encourage blooming all summer by giving a light trim after the flowers are spent. ‘Sweetie Pie’ is deer resistant. FRUIT PUNCH® ‘Sweetie Pie’ is part of the PROVEN WINNERS®® Perennial family.
