The large, fragrant 5 inch blooms of ‘Storm Shelter’ bring stunning purple shades to the RAINBOW RHYTHM® daylily family. This tetraploid has intense, deep coloration. The large, deep purple eye extends outwards to a purplish mauve and has heavily ruffled edges. Standing 20-24 inches tall and spreading 18-24 inches wide, RAINBOW RHYTHM® ‘Storm Shelter’ will bloom mid summer with an occasional late summer rebloom. This salt tolerant, drought tolerant plant grows well in just about any soil condition. Planted in full sun to part shade, RAINBOW RHYTHM® ‘Storm Shelter’ is hardy in zones 3-9.
