(Hosta) Hosta ‘Blue Ivory’, a medium size sport of ‘Halcyon’, has thick foliage that is slug resistant. In the spring the leaves showcase a wide, creamy white margin with a blue center, but by summer the margins turn white and the centers become blue-green. ‘Blue Ivory’ produces lavender flowers on 20 to 24 inch scapes. In the late summer heat the margins of the leaves may take on a greenish-blue hue.

  1. Tammy

My favorite Hosta. Love the coloring of the leaves. No problem with slugs so far with this one.

  2. Nicole

I adore this hosta. It pairs beautifully with siberian bugloss and ferns. It has never given me a problem in terms of slugs, and the deer (at least for now!) have left it alone.
