(Lobelia) LAGUNA® Sky Blue Lobelia has dainty pale blue flowers, with a compact, well-branched habit. LAGUNA® Sky Blue will grow 8-10″ high and trail up to 24″ making it perfect in mixed containers, hanging baskets and window boxes. Plant low maintenance LAGUNA® Sky Blue in full sun to part shade, for best results. It is self-cleaning, so no deadheading is required, but you may give it a slight trim to encourage additional branching at any time. LAGUNA® Sky Blue does not like it’s feet wet so allow the surface of the soil to dry between waterings. As a bonus, butterflies love LAGUNA® Sky Blue Lobelia.

8/15/2023 Zone 9b – Did well for a few weeks but started to turn brown in the hot summer sun even after constant rain. This happened twice already with two different colors – blue and white ones. I think the sun is too intense for these fragile beauties.

  2. Douglas

Bloomed all summer instead of fading in summer heat, as older varieties of Lobelia do.

    Vibrant Color
I ordered 2 of these beauties to fill in the pot I have planted a small hydrangea in and they did the job beautifully. They held their vibrant color all season and were striking. Just what I needed to add some color while waiting for my hydrangea to mature. They did better than I thought they would for the partial sun spot I needed them for. These were very healthy plants as usual for Garden Crossings.

    More Water
I planted Sky Blue Lobelia from the Home Depot. It was beautiful for about one month. We had a very hot week and in one day, my lobelia flowers all shriveled up. The plant itself was fine. It gets all afternoon sun. I cut off the dead shriveled up part. What happened?
