(Maiden Grass) Miscanthus ‘Huron Sunrise’ is prized as the most heavily blooming Maiden Grass. Its substantial, full burgundy flowers display their beauty in mid-August atop lovely green leaves with silver mid-ribs. ‘Huron Sunrise’ forms a graceful, compact clump and its golden fall foliage color is an added bonus! Be sure to extend the seasonal show of ‘Huron Sunrise’ by leaving it standing throughout the winter season. ‘Huron Sunrise’ is great as a specimen, for massing and screening, planting in large containers or use at the water’s edge, as it is tolerant of moist soils.
