(Tall Cushion Phlox) ‘Cloudburst’ Phlox has the best of two phlox’s wrapped up into one nice plant. Enjoy the bright splash of color like Tall Phlox and the nicely shaped mound like Cushion Phlox. ‘Cloudburst’ is a very floriferous bloomer from early summer until fall. The bright orchid purple blooms have a bright magenta eye and contrast beautifully with the glossy, deep green foliage. . Standing 28 inches tall and spreading up to 42 inches wide, ‘Cloudburst’ this fragrant mound is sure to please. Planted in full sun, ‘Cloudburst’ is hardy in zones 4-8. This bee friendly perennial also attracts butterfly and hummingbirds to the garden. This reblooming perennial looks great when planted in mass or as a specimen plant.     I really liked this flower it looked great most of the summer. I had my in more clay soil and they did pretty good, and are coming back this spring.
