(Tall Garden Phlox) Phlox ‘David’ is an award winning perennial. This Phlox has proven to be a superior perennial plant, and considered a staple in the garden. ‘David’ is one of the most resistant varieties to powdery mildew. The very fragrant clusters of crisp white flowers bloom abundantly late summer through fall, while attracting hummingbirds and butterflies from near and far. ‘David’ does best in at least 6 hours of sunlight a day and prefers rich, moist soil. Hardy for zones 4 to 9. With a vigorous upright growth habit, growing to 4 feet tall, ‘David’ also makes an excellent cut flower.

A garden favorite. Fragrant blooms attract pollinators. I have not had a problem with powdery mildew with this variety. Gorgeous when planted in large groupings.
