Growing 20-24″ high by 26-30″ wide, ROCK ‘N GROW® ‘Back in Black’ is great for the middle of the sunny border or in containers. ‘Back in Black’ Sedum features near black, succulent foliage with numerous flowers that have creamy pink petals with deep garnet red centers that open in late summer. It’s dark color would be a fantastic compliment to COLOR CODED® ‘Yellow my Darling’ Echinacea or underplanted with ROCK ‘N GROW® ‘Yellow Brick Road’ Sedum. ‘Back in Black’ Sedum has strong sturdy stems that easily hold the abundant large flower heads without splaying open as some taller sedums are prone to. Sedums are one of the most popular plants grown by gardeners and rightly so, as they are drought tolerant, grow in average to poor soil, do not need to be fussed over, and are a favorite choice of butterflies and other pollinators.
