Each bloom has deep red/brown centers, and its petals have bold yellow tips that fade to red near the base of the petal. These large flowers stand out amongst its deep green, dense foliage. Hardy in zones 4-9, it can reach a maximum height of 8-12 inches and can reach a maximum width of 12-16 inches. It grows in a neat, fairly compact habit that is perfect for tucking into small spaces in the garden, or for a mass planting or border.
