The large Magenta Red flowers begin in April lasting 4-6 weeks, and then reappear in July, but it doesn't stop there, Bloom-A-Thon® Red will continue to give you color for an additional 12-16 weeks or until a hard frost. The beautiful foliage is disease resistant and evergreen. Bloom-A-Thon® Red is a heat tolerant plant that requires little maintenance. Prune to shape and fertilize after the first major spring bloom.
