(Butterfly Bush) Buddleia 'Bicolor' is the first buddleia ever to offer two completely different colors on the same inflorescence! Fragrant, lavender and butterscotch yellow flowers blend together for a fascinating bicolor effect. The large panicles grow up to 10 inches long and display their beauty from midsummer until frost. Butterflies and hummingbirds will be dancing around your garden to get the sweet taste of nectar. Buddleia 'Bicolor' is grown as a herbaceous perennial and should be cut back in late winter before the new growth appears. Doing this will promote faster growth, abundant flowers and better shaping. Removing the spent panicles will also encourage new blooms.

Winter Hardy Review by Lindaw | Zone: 6a
Planted one of these a few years ago. It's beautiful, winter hardy, and virtually pest-free. Does well in partial shade as well. (Posted on 1/19/2012)
Bicolor Review by Julie W | Zone: 8a
Purchased and planted late last fall. It's already blooming here in Dallas. Easy to grow. Sweet colors, the bicolor effect makes it special. Fragrance is softer than say, 'Black Knight, but still sweet enough to summon the butterflies. (Posted on 6/6/2011)
Lovely Review by Beverly P | Zone: 5b
I purchased this plant two years ago. It is now 5ft tall and 3ft wide. The flowers are lovely. I live in Zone 4 where we get a lot of snow and cold temps. I also gave one to my sister who lives on the coast of NH. She loves it! (Posted on 8/16/2010)
