Details

(Rose of Sharon) A truly unique Rose of Sharon, Pollypetite™ has a compact, mounding habit. Standing 3-4 foot tall and wide, Pollypetite™ is a perfect size for borders, foundations or in the garden. Large, crisp, clean lavender purple flowers are edged in a lightly ruffled edge. A unique thing for this Rose of Sharon, there is no red/magenta eye. The leaves are darker green in color and resemble cut leaf maples. In mid summer the beautiful blooms appear putting on a show. Deer resistant, and attracts butterflies, Pollypetite™ was developed by Polly Hill at the Arboretum on Martha's Vineyard. Pollypetite™ is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
