Description

Details

(Agave) Indoors or out, Agave 'Desert Diamond' is a great specimen. Standing 15 inches tall and spreading up to 18 inches wide, 'Desert Diamond' is a perfect symmetrical globe. The leathery thick leaves are a deep green color edged in a very wide cream edge. The scalloped edges have tiny brown spikes with a larger spike at the tip. Handle with care. Hardy in zone 9-10, Agave 'Desert Diamond' can be planted outdoors in warmer climates. For cooler climates we recommend planting in a patio container that can be transferred indoors in the cooler months. Agave are a slow growing plant and flower once every 15-20 years therefore mostly grown for their attractive foliage. Deer and rabbit resistant, 'Desert Diamond' is a great addition to rock gardens, patios, and indoor decor.

Homeowner Tips
Agave 'Desert Diamond' is a succulent plant and prefer to be grown with light watering. During the Winter this slow grower should be grown dry. When planting in a container we recommend planting in a pot that is slightly larger than the plant.
