Description

Details

(Agave) Indoors or out, Agave truncata is a favored specimen. Standing 18 inches tall and spreading up to 18 inches wide, Agave truncata has silvery blue green leaves that are large in size and symmetrical. The leaves are edged in tiny dark brown spikes. Handle with care. Hardy in zones (6) 7-9, Agave truncata can be planted outdoors in warmer climates. For cooler zones we recommend planting in a patio container that can be transferred indoors in colder months. Agave are slow growing plants and flower once every 15-20 years, therefore mostly grown for their attractive foliage. Deer and rabbit resistant, Agave truncata is a wonderful addition to rock gardens, patios, and indoor decor.

Homeowner Tips
Agave truncata is a succulent plant and prefer to be grown with light watering. During the Winter this slow grower should be grown dry. When planting in a container we recommend planting in a pot that is slightly larger than the plant.
