Many plants are well suited for growing in containers including choices of annuals, perennials, shrubs, herbs and vegetables.  This provides endless options for bringing color and interest to every area in your landscape.  Decorate a window box, the deck or patio, the entrances to your home or even the balcony of an apartment or condo.  Just remember that container grown plants will require more water than those grown in the ground.
