'Sweet Summer Love' is an easy to grow variety of Clematis that produces colorful violet - red flowers midsummer that last until the fall. The flowers start off as a beautiful red and as they age turn to purple, giving this plant a bi coloration. In a full sun to part shade location, 'Sweet Summer Love' grows to be 10 foot tall and is hardy down to zone 4. The sweet cherry vanilla fragrance is sure to stimulate your senses every time you walk past.
