Astilbe - False Spirea

Astilbes grow in full sun to full shade. You can plant this just about anywhere in your garden. Astilbe is also known as false spirea. The butterfly attracting blooms can get up to 3 feet tall, flowering mid summer. The flowers are feathery and panicle-shaped, while the foliage is coarsely textured. Simply beautiful as well as deer and rabbit resistant.
