Lamium, or Spotted Dead Nettle, is a fast-growing perennial used as a ground cover or accent plant. Known best for its silver, shimmering foliage, it does have snap-dragon like flowers in colors from white, to pink to purple depending on the variety. Lamium prefers a semi-shady area with well-drained soil but can tolerate a wide range of conditions and is also deer resistant.
