Rhaphiolepis - Indian Hawthorn

Indian Hawthorn is an easy-care family of evergreen shrubs native to Asia that are perfect for sunny borders in Southern locations. Hardy in zones 8-10, Indian Hawthorn has clusters of dainty flowers that appear in spring set off by glossy dark green foliage. Some varieties will even rebloom throughout the growing season! Beside attracting pollinators, Indian Hawthorn has a list of glowing attributes such as disease and deer resistance and heat and salt tolerance. Growing best in well-draining soil, Indian Hawthorn is tolerant of most soil types. Use this desirable shrub as a specimen plant, in the mixed border, as a hedge or in containers.
